Stanton Wine

The Stanton family has been growing grapes in the Napa Valley since 1947. Beginning with the harvest of 1999, Doug Stanton began selecting some of their best Oakville Cabernet for the Stanton Vineyards label. In addition to Cabernet Sauvignon, the Stantons grow Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Mourvedre and Petite Sirah. Roughly half of our acreage lies in the Oakville appellation, and the other half within the St. Helena appellation of he Napa Valley.

Stanton Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

This vintage brings a reprise of the last year's 100% representation of our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon varietal. Everything from its deep purple color to its aromas of dark berries, Creme de Cassis, blueberries, sweet vanilla and humidor spice marks this as an exceptionally ripe Cabernet.

Stanton Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

The 2006 vintage is a delicious 100% varietal Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. This represents a departure from accustomed practice at Stanton Vineyards, in that there is not the slightest influence of any other grape variety in the wine.

Stanton Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

Stanton Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

For the 2005 vintage, winemaker Dave Phinney selected a blend of 7% Petite Sirah to go with 93% Oakville cabernet. The result is a wine that is richly structured with expressive aromas of ripe cassis, blackberry and blueberry, smoothly integrated with pleasant oak flavors, that finishes on the palate with medium-full tannins. As always, we hope you enjoy drinking this wine as much as we enjoyed growing and producing it for you

Stanton Saint Helena Petite Sirah 2007

Stanton Saint Helena Petite Sirah 2007

The 2007 Stanton Vineyards Petite Sirah is one of the most aromatically compelling petites you'll ever come across! It oozes a deep, dark black currant taste of blackberry and blueberry with well-integrated spicy flavors, finishing in a hedonistic display of fruit ala Dave Phinney of Orin Swift fame. It is 100% varietal Petite Sirah grown exclusively on the Stanton Estate Vineyard, St. Helena, Napa Valley.

We hope you enjoy drinking our wine as mush as we enjoyed growing and producing it for you!
